Health & Nutrition

All of us need food to grow and maintain good health. The food that we eat, our diet, provides nutrients when the food is digested by our body. The nutrients are absorbed in our digestive system and it nourishes every cell in our body. It helps our body to stay warm, build and repair tissues, protect from diseases and to recover faster when we fall sick. Nutrients are classified into 7 major types : carbohydrates, fats, proteins, minerals, vitamins, fiber and water.
