Organic Chemistry
Organic chemistry is a branch of chemistry that involves study of properties, structure, reactions and compositions of compounds containing carbon and hydrogen, also called organic compounds. Organic compounds may contain other elements such as nitrogen, oxygen, phosphorus, sulfur etc. Organic compounds form the basis of all life on Earth. There are millions of organic compounds and can be seen everyday in form of plastics, petroleum, fibers, clothing, food and medications.
