                             World War II

World War II was the war that followed right after World War I. World War II started from 1939 and ended all the way in 1945. World War II was one of the bloodiest, and ferocious battle we have ever fought.

Our allies during World War II were: England, Soviet Union, United States, and France. This was the good side during World War II. This was the good side because these were the people that helped us during World War II. They helped us fight, gave us equipment, and supplies.

Adolf Hitler was Germany's dictator during World War II. The difference between the president and a dictator is that a dictator dominates over a country or a place. A president is nationally elected to run a country. Hitler was the leader or Germany's part in the war.

World War II started because of unsolved problems, nationalistic tensions, and resentments all from World War I. Other countries got involved because they all wanted to fight against Germany and Germany's allies. We also fought because we believed Hitler was getting too strong an enemy and that we should have taken him out when he was gaining strength.

Germany invaded many countries. Including: Poland, Denmark, Norway, Belgium,The Netherlands, and France. Even invaded a little country called Luxembourg. Germany did this because they wanted to take over the whole world. They wanted to take over the smaller countries and work up to bigger countries. They wanted to spread their power all over.
