Camels are desert animals. Camels eat grass and Cactus and many other plants in the desert. They are consumers.

 

They can survive in the desert for a very long time because they store water in their body. They store water in special bags  inside their stomach. 

 

The hump on their back is full of fat and that  provides them with energy.
