Mattie J.T. Stepanek

            I am doing my biography on Mattie J.T Stepanek.  He was born on July 17^th 1990 in Washington Dc. Mattie started writing poems when he three years old but had really slow and sloppy handwriting.  His mom got him a typewriter.  When he was five he started writing by hand.  When he was nine years old he did middle school.  When he was ten years old he did high school work.

            Mattie is scared and positive most of the time and has a very kind heart.  He is known for writing heart poems and also for his sickness and peacemaking.

            Mattie overcame getting deathly sick.  Mattie had a golden Retriever named Micah the dog.  He was born on March 12^th 2002 near Seattle Wa. Mattie’s dog was good at opening things and shutting things.  Mattie’s dog also learned how to alert him if something was not right with his ventilator.  Mattie’s dog also helped him sort laundry.  Mattie also had his last birthday when he was 13.  After a couple months after his birthday he died.  I hope you learned more about Mattie J.T.
