How the Revolutionary War began

The beginning of the Revolution was started  after the French and Indian War. The British had been victorious in this battle, but the outcome had also included a huge debt to pay. The reason for this was because they had used an immense amount of money during the war to pay for weapons, soldier employment, or others of that such. (About 150 million pounds, estimated. US$22.4 billion if calculated in our type of cash being made in 2011.)

With this knowledge hanging over the Britishers' heads, they decided that the Americans should help pay their bill. The British began to tax the Americans without giving them a chance to give their own opinion. As time went on, more acts were declared, and the hatred between the British and the Americans continued to grow. Because of that, some "things" happened; such as the Boston Massacre, or the Boston Tea Party.

When the Americans had resisted from following the laws passed, the British sent more troops in 1774. As an absolute result of the extreme dislike between the British and the Americans, a war began in 1775.
