Urinary System

The human urinary system keeps chemicals, such as potassium, sodium and calcium, and water in balance in our body and removes a type of waste, called urea, from the blood. The urinary system comprises of two kidneys, two ureters, a bladder, and the urethra. The kidneys also help regulate the blood pressure and produce erythropoietin, which controls red blood cell production in the bone marrow.  Learn about Urinary System
