The human respiratory system is made up of organs that help to breathe. Our breathing supplies blood with oxygen which is circulated through our body, allowing oxygen to reach all the body parts. The respiratory system comprises of the mouth, nose, trachea, lungs and diaphragm. In the lungs, oxygen is absorbed while carbon dioxide is expelled.
